Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

In P3 the curtain tool used to highlight an area in the bar chart area as well as highlighting in yellow the activities in that date range for the curtain, P3e does not highlight the activities, any ideas how to get this to work in P3e ??

And adding to what Rodel said, you can also change the color and patern of the curtain. Pretty Cool Huh!!
Note that this feature is available in Release 5

Ian,

Progress spotlight and curtains are both available in P3e.
For progress spotlight select View-> Progress Spotlight (just below the timescale)
For curtain select View-> Attachment-> Curtain-> Attach curtain (below progress spotlight) or right click Gantt chart or bar area and select attachment-> Curtain-> Attach curtain

Regards,
Rodel

Ian the thing which you are saying is the progress spot light (View>Progress Spotlight) and is different form Cutain tool (Veiw>attachements).

Try the spot light and stretch the highlight area with the mouse.
