Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Good Morning,
Anyone ever have a problem with multiple project logic?
A co-worker has 3 plans tied together (mfg, eng and purchasing)in an overall file. Each of the plans will f9 individually, but when the purchasing is opened with the overall there is an error when trying to f9: Event Code CLDML-3916-3, Description: TCCHeckLoopDepend. MakeLoopReport. FindLoopForRow: Too many levels of recursion.
We have tried Primavera, but they don’t support P3.5E anymore.
Any Ideas?
Thanks
Dave

Start with some general question to understand your problem a bit deeper.

1 . Please confirm your versionis is P3e 3.5 ??
2. Did you install all the patches??

If you have installed all the patches then my suggestion is that:

Then what might be causing the recurring logic is activites between projects are interlink with a mess.

In order to have a clear interfaced project plan you might have to delete all the existing interproject relationship and replace with a series of start and finsih milestone.

As a result, all activities linkage will be very clear and it will solve your problem ofo recurring logic (Loop)
