Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

@ Richards Watt,

AD-02 report does not give you a total count of number of relationships.

For the activity count use column "Activity Count" on "Number of Activities"

For the relationships u can use a Global Report called "AD-02 Activity Relationships"

Easier still try this, it eliminates the need to export to excel.

For the activity count, select a new column, go to the number of activities and select activity count. Position it where you wish. This will count activities within your WBS and roll up giving a total number of activities for your project.

For the relationships, an easy way is to select your schedule log after a schedule. this will tell you all sorts of information regarding the status of your project. Within this is the total number of activities, as well as the total number of relationships you currently have. Also it gives you useful general information & warnings about your project.

Hope this helps you. It eliminates the need to export anything and is just a few clicks of the mouse away.

Regards,

Richard

Hi Amar,

For the total no. of activities:
U can use a built-in report (eg.SR-18 Schedule Report - Sorted by Activity ID), this report will show u the list of activities in ur schedule.

Export this to excel and count them.

For the total no. of relationships:
U can use a built-in report (eg.SR-06 Schedule Report - Predecessors & Successors), this report will show u a list of relationships in ur schedule.

Export this to excel and count them.

Regards.
