Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

layouts and filter in PPM

Hello everyone,
In Primavera Project Management, how do you handle layout and filters. To me it seems that it doesnt work the way like P3 3.1 you just recall any layout save with corresponding filter without worries.

Anybody, please give me your advise,

James,

When u apply a filter within a layout and then u save this layout, and after this if u apply another filter within the same layout and u don’t save the layout this time, then the P3/ec shows the last filter applied.

U have to re-open the saved layout to show the 1st filter (eg. it will not show automatically)!

Its slightly different from P3e to set up layout but it should able to save layout together with filter

However, layout have different Lv, User Level and Global level
