Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Guys, I wish to convert around 200 Projects in 3.1 to 4.1.

I have done the following excersize.

1) Crated Resource, Calendar, EPS, OBS, Activity Code etc in 4.1

2) Changed Calendar, Resource, Activity Code of 3.1 similar to that of 4.1

3) Imported 3.1 project data to 4.1

4) The problem I faced is Calendar, Resource, Activity are crated again in 4.1.

Any suggestions pls?

Shengyen, Christian, Thanks for the advice. I have new projects already created in 4.1. I need to import the existing projects from 3.1. I shall try keeping your suggestions in mind. Thanks.

Shengyun is right.. let all the datas from you 3.1 be exported to 4.1 just to make it more intact then try to compare you 4.1 vs 3.1 datas and see for yourself if they have the same datas, only then you can start modifying your projects.. hope this helps..
