Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Could any of you fine ladies and gents direct me to an idiots guide to creating and formatting reports in P3e? The p3e help file basically says "use the wizard" which is fine if you understand the spells, but no good for me who neeeds to go back to basics, especially producing (for example)tabular reports across a portfolio of projects.

Regards
Mark

Mark,

The wizard is the entry level approach to creating reports I’m afraid. You just have to go through a number of simple examples to figure out how it works, and that takes some time.

If you are really reluctant to use the report wizard, the alternative is to build the tables on screen (save the screen layout) and print these off.

Hope this helps,

Niek.
