Hello all,

Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

I am having difficulties importing a value into the AQ Actual Quantity field,, currently all other fields are importing and updating perfectly i.e. % comp, Actual Start, Actual Finish, BQ.

When I run the import (picking up a .DBF) all other fields are updating however the AQ is reading the same value as the Earned,, I assume this is automatic IF the AQ value is not being picked up?

Any ideas?????

Jonathan,
I think you did not understand what I mean. This is what you need to do.
First export P3 data including Act Id, resource, BQ, AQ, QAT & QTC. Then populate all fields using your own data then import back. This will update all fields that you required. If importing only AQ it may not update because QAT - QTC = AQ where QAT & QTC is exist on your P3 database which you need to replace also using your own populated data.

Thank you Rodel,

these figures that I need to import are Actuals - real numbers booked to activities so I need the AQ field populated from the import.

It is very strange as I can update the Es and EF and Activity Titles - just not the AQ??

any other ideas?

once again many thanks

Hi Jonathan,
Try to include QAC "Quantity At Completion" and QTC "Quantity to Complete". It dictates the update of AQ "Actual Quantity". If QAC = BQ then QAC-QTC = AQ.
