Hello everyone. :)

I could delete all of the relationships in a project by adding a column named DELETE with values S.

Unfortunately this does not work in Subprojects.

How do I delete all of the relationships to import new ones?

Thank you.

yep. and find all relationships on all subprojects deleted.

add to this an uncontrolled backup onto the previous backup file and there you have everything lost.

unfortunately, the project is a subproject.

thus the rel file has other subproject relationships in it too.

and deleting it will delete ALL of the relationships in ALL of the subprojects!

thank you for your reply but please read the original post carefully while answering.
anyone not understanding how the P3 database files work will have lost all of the relationships in them.

my schedule is around 12000 activities and I take 2hourly backups with time stamp.

There’s one more way of doing it, which is bit simple.

Create a blank project, say ABCD.

Now, there will be a file named ABCDREL in the folder.

Just rename this file to ur actual project name. Say ur program name is WXYZ. So, just rename it to WXYZREL and paste it in the WXYZ program folder.

Gone!! Simple

Cheers,

Rav

Ok problem solved.

I was trying to use the act code and the S code only. an not the successor code on the same line.

so its not really the same as using the D code to delete the actID.

a quick search solved the problem (sould have done that first).

thanks friends. :)
