Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

How to show suspended activity in the bar chart

I come across a problem of showing in a bar chart of suspended activity.i have a concrete slab activity and it could not be done continously in my schedule,i have to start and work for a period of 8 days,the stop & resume after 5 days.and continue for another 22 days,this i cant display in the bar chart,i tried it to use suspend date but of no avail.the program is asking for actual start date.please any body can help me?

You could have a different calendar id for that activity, where you define the holiday periods. Then go to format => bars => early bars => check box for "neck" and "holidays". Good luck.

Hi Mark,

It was an interesting excercise however I tried one solution which may suit you.

You can define a seperate calender for the above actvity and show the days as non working for as many days as you like to suspend it.
