(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi guys
I have a problem regarding reaming duration. P3 calculate RD based on progress achieved / planning unit up to data date and then suggest the duration for balance progress. Some time this become very illogical due to less physical progress in long duration. When I try to reduce the RD and reschedule but RD become again the same what P3 suggest. Please guide in detail. May be there is any problem in auto cost rules.

I already try this option but not working. Thanks for reply. I found the mistake there is some mistake in logic that why the remaining duration was calculate after the FS of predessor activity where as this should be FF with a counted lag.

Hi,

To update separately the remaining duration & the activity % comp. Just uncheck from the auto cost rule "Link remaining duration & schedule percent complete"

But then you have to update remaining duration for all the schedule activities manually.
