Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi,

At times when we back-up schedule on a floppy and then restore on another PC we get a message "target project not found". What does this indicate. Do we have to create a target project.

No, you do not have to crate a target project.
Most likely you had a target project together with the project you backed up. When you do the back up, I guess you only did a back up for the main project, and not for the target project. If you dont need the back up for the target project (and dont want to do a back up for it) then you can chose project overview/targets and delete the targetproject that P3 is looking for when you open the backed up project. Then you can open your plan.
