Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All,

Need a your view.

I have a made a excel progress measuring sheet in weightage is split by acivity like below table,

Baseline ActivityBaseline Weightage
A5%
B25%
C35%
D20%
E15%
Total100%

But now I need to add one more acvitiy as it was missed when developing basline weightage. Please note that the acivity is new and is not related to any of the basline acvitiy mentioned above.

Actual ActivityWeightage
A
B
C
D
E
F?
Total

Please advice how to put weigtage as now I need to measure the progress with the new activity.

Thanks

Jithin

Jithin,

There is no point of spliting the Weightage as it was not be calculated for EV if the activity will not be added to baseline. You can add new activity for purpose for monitoring only the activity with no weightage and no progress will be counted as per baseline. If the new activity is within the baseline duration and just spliting activity and weightage, better do the same in baseline so it will earned progress if really required.
