Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

What inspections would be required for "Temp Occupancy" to let teachers in school 2 wks prior to the students?

What inspections would be required for "Temp Occupancy" to let teachers in school 2 wks prior to the students?

Is there a grey area on these where they can get Temp. Inspection approvals?  - which means like "interim approval" before students would be allowed in the new school?  (I assume possibly "Substantial Completion" or at least "A Full/Final Occupancy Certificate" or whatever called would be required.

Elevator Inspection
Kitchen Inspection
TAB Report (HVAC Test and Balance report)
Fire Department Inspection
Dept. of Bldg Inspections

ALL fire life safety activities I dont think that they can be in there prior to obtaining a (COO) certificate of occupancy

you can add lighting to that list interior as well as exterior, power, as well as egress emergency exits and all federal, state and local codes.

Substantial Completion is where the construction part of the project is truned of for its intended use.
