I have some experience in oil & gas EPC projects but almost no experience in mining projects. Can anyone tell me what are the differences between oil & gas EPC projects and mining EPC projects? (EPC = Engineering, Procurement and Construction).

Each and every Project is unique. However, all other discipline - principles remain the same!

Thanks Anoon, I know there should not be any difference in terms of CPM techniques, PERT, scheduling principles, etc. I'm referring on the methods of design / construction. For example, infrastructure projects have heavy civil works, whereas oil & gas has lots of piping / mechanical equipments, etc.

There should be NO difference(s) at All, even if you compare with any other projects. At least in terms of Planning & Scheduling Principles!
