Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

...but if the date was showing 16th feb with the fniish on or before constraint, this is becuase your schedule is telling you it is impossible to finish by 12th dec.

Making it a mandatory constraint will make the end date change, but it doesn't mean you will achieve that end date.

Really, you're just hiding the problem, rather than adressing it.

This is why I do not like mandatory constraints.

Hi Sunil,

If you dont want your end date to move, used "Mandatory Finish"

Cheers,

Daniel
