Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Progress on WBS and Project Level

Dear Seniors,

 

I am new in Planning. Can you please guide me.

What is the best way to measure progress at WBS level and Job level on a project having 500+ activities and 26 WBS, without cost/ resource loading. I selected the option "Performace % Complete" also. After inputting the % Completion in Activity % Completion, I am not getting the % at WBS and Project level.

Please guide me on this.

I suggest you dont use Perfomance % if your schedule is not cost loaded.

Hi Bim,

        I am not much more experienced but i feel i can help you on this, no problem cost or resource not needed but are u using the planning tool of Primavera 6 or MS project. the % Completion u selected is rite but you have to update the schedule. check the progress update and select the regarding month to be update, so u will get it.
