I have been working as a construction planner for the past two years' but for the last six month I join a new company as a Junior EPCM Planner. Basicly my role is to plan from FEL1 right through to Exacuation.
my idea would be to build a basic FEL 1 Shedule High level then refine it & add more detail later on in the FEL stages Baselining at ever FEL. Within those FEL stages there are engineering tasks which we Sub contract out & also internal reviews. We get budget hour are Dollars for the Engineering & resoure them. The internal task at the minute have no resources on them or Budgeted hour/Dollars.
i think that we do need to add our own hours and resources.
When we are in execution stage we request All contractor to Submit there Schedule With cost & resource loaded budgetd hours.
i would like to ask what is the best way to add these to the Master Schedule
Also All Scope do not get issued at the same time. In the execution Schedule i need to show all work Awarded or not
Contractor issue me there plans would it be best for me to put a line or two in the master with there hours in & cost and manually update it or copy it in every week
i have read a lot on here and has helped me heaps
