Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Anyone have any indicative tables showing ratios tonnes rebar to M3 concrete for rc structures... possibly showing breakdown into elements... Bases, walls, slabs, soffits. Piles etc.?

Thanks Armando... I managed to find some more information yesterday... from a UK Civil’s Design Group

Specific data for "Water Retaining Structures"
Walls 100mm thickness per metre retained height rebar density 120kg/m3
Bases wall thickness plus 50mm rebar density 130kg/m3
For piled bases the density increases to 150kg/m3
General note - for non water retaining structures reduce the densities by 25%.

Warehouse Type of Project:

Isolated Footing> 80 - 120 kgs/m3
Pedestals/Columns> 120 kgs/m3
Beams>110 - 120 kgs/m3
Slab on Grade> 50 kgs/m3

Hope it helps...
