Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Our Procurement people are out of town...Can anyone tell me the lead time now adays for Stainless Steel pipe...I know it has gotten quite a lengthy lead time....

Diameter of stainless steel pipe is another factor aside from quantity requirement. Here in Saudi Arabia, at least 16-18 weeks is needed for type 316. - It depends also on where you are getting those.

It depends on the bulk qty requirement and classifications of Stainless Steel. For super duplex requirement it takes 30 weeks just to get the billet of stainless steel raw material to manufacture. For normal 316 it takes min of 12 weeks in Australia depending on the bulk quantity.
