Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

P3 versus P5

Has anybody on here any comments or suggestions re moving from P3.1 to the new P5?

What problems or issues are there? My client is considering moving in the direction of P5 and any info would be appreciated.

i think you should be carefull in calendar also. after importing just check the calender in P5 to match with the calanders you had in P3.

No problem, just to double check on the

1)review and adjust WBS
2)review and adjust activites
3)assign resource & cost.

Remember to select Global or project resource coding before you import the P3 file.
