Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi everyone, is there any filter to check if the cashflow of the project has been spread to the last month of the project? I am working in programme of works and handling 50 projects at a time and cross checking one by one in resources assignment tab is a bit hard for me.

several ways

1. view show on bottom resource useage profile look at the values at the last month of the project

2. view show on bottom activity useage profile look at the values at the last month of the project

3. add a column for budgeted costs then group and sort by finish and set the increment to day. Look at the bottom of the list and look at the last day of the project and see if there are amy values there

Hi David. Thanks for taking the time and answering my questions. I meant the second part of your sentence " that the financial transactions of the project extend for the full duration of the project"

I am looking to see if the remaining cost of the project has been spread to the last month of the project.

Abbas,

The use of -ve resource quantities to simulate revenue as opposed to cost, in order to show cash flow, is problematic in p6 although not impossible. That P6 cannot draw charts where the 'y' axis drops below zero (!!!) is a challenge, but soon us oldies who remember how elegant Primavera’s SureTrak was at doing this in 1995 for £295.00 will be gone.

The question ‘check if the cashflow of the project has been spread to the last month of the project’ does not make a lot of sense to me. Do you mean that all financial transactions occur in the last month of the project, or that the financial transactions of the project extend for the full duration of the project? Or something else?
