Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All,

I have a resource loaded and linked schedule with a finish milestone (forecast) linked to a constrained mandatory finish milestone(target finish date) and can see my float correctly in the Total Float column with no resource constraints applied. When i add resource levels to the schedule, it naturally extends the finish dates as i expected. My forecast finish milestone goes beyond my constrained mandatory finish milestone however my total float column has not changed and still shows a positive float! It has not calculated the REAL total float with resource levelling.

Any help on this would be massively appricated!

Cheers,

Hayden

SOLVED - Use the 'remaining float' column
