(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi,

 

I need to upgrade from P6 V7 to P6 V8. I am working in PMO, so i have set of activity codes, resources etc. So please help me how migrate from P6 V7 to P6 V8 without making any change in the activity code/ resource  assignments. I believe, if i go for export - import, it will effect my assignments. I love to hear valuable comments / guidelines.

Any Document available to Upgrade P6 V7 to P6 V8?

If not can you please mention necessary steps to Upgrade Primavera p6 V 7 to P6 V 8.3.

You are able to upgrade your database when upgrading from P7 V7 to V8.
