Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi Mike,

I didn't realize it was such a big issue. It certainly does work...quite easily really. if you download the pdf file, it's takes you though downloading the right Primavera P6 files from Oracle and installing it in Windows 8, all with tons of screen grabs. We've tested it many times!

Hopefully it ill be useful to folks!

Hi Emily

If this works you will have solved all the P6 installation problems on Planning Planet - last count about 3 thousand and rising

Getting my P6 software working entailed 24 hours of direct assistance from P6 support.

They did not appreciate that my entry password is p6iscrap.

Best regards
