Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi Guys,

Question and apologies if this is an easy one.  i have 7 updated MSP programmes for a project, December through to June.  The Critical Path is through the same section of works for each month.  I want to set the previous month as the basline for each month and also maybe set December as the Baseline for June to show As Planned Vs As built.

How do i do this, ie set a different MSP programe as a baseline. Is it a problem that as the project progress more detail was added into the Programme, more activities, therefore act ID 43 will not match with Activity ID 43 for a later programme.

Thanks in advance.

You can test it as follows:

- Just save 2 baselines: Baseline 1 and Baseline 2.

- Add any Project field for both Baseline 1 and Baseline 2 (e.g. Baseline 1 Duration and Baseline 2 Duration) to the table (e.g. Entry table of the Gantt Chart View).

- Practice and see how the fields change as you modify the task list by deleting, inserting, moving task lines.

Regards,

Ismet
