Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Combine more projects in one view

Dear all,

I’ve a problem with the following. I made a lot of schedules for different projects. At a later date I want to combine these projects to one file where I can see this.

Like the following:
I have one file whereto I link all my projects. Than I change the bar styles and so on. After that it is finished.
But a month later I have a new project to add to the list. When I than click insert -> project -> "the new project". MSP insert it as extra tasks of the lowest project in the file.

What do I wrong? Have one of you a answer for this?

View > Gantt
On the Formatting toolbar, click on Show > Outline Level 1
Click on a blank row
Click on Insert > Project...
