Project : Project Controls on the Mackenzie Gas Pipeline (PMC)

Project: $7.0B Engineering, Procurement and Construction 1220-kilometre natural gas pipeline system along the Mackenzie Valley of Canada's Northwest Territories to connect northern onshore gas fields with North American markets. Client was Exxon Mobile.

Project Controls Devon Jackfish Project (SAGD)

Project: $7.0B Engineering, Procurement for Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage facility to extract 35,000 barrels per day of bitumen. Client was Devon Energy.

                              Duties:

 

  • Prepare Detailed Engineering and Construction Schedules for Proposals and Projects in Progress.
  • Update and Maintain Complex Project Schedules.
  • Analyze and Prepare Schedule reports for Project Management Team Regarding schedule deviations and upcoming milestones.
  • Understand and use Primavera P3 Project Planner and Critical path Method planning.
  • Assist in training of junior staff by providing guidance in work methods and procedures.
  • Monitor man hours and progress to report to the project management team.
  • Monthly and weekly reporting to PM team.
  • Track project progress based on milestones and deliverables.
  • Tracking the deliverables based on percent complete and earned hours.
  • Designing progress templates for the different deliverables.
  • Tracking forecasts vs. Actual S Curves and Histograms.
  • Updating and evaluating Engineering Progress.
  • Updating trend logs.
