  1. Working with Leading EPC organization Petrofac International Ltd., Sharjah for Shell Iraq Majnoon Brownfield & Greenfield Project since Jan’2011.

 

Sr. Project Control Engineer (EPC)

  • Responsible for develop EPC & Commissioning schedule, updation, revision, Look ahead and monitor Critical Path, Risk Analysis and mitigation plan.
  • Development, updation & Monitoring of TDR & PTR based on Level-3 Schedule.
  • Progress Measurement, Performance Analysis, Resource analysis and Risk assessment to check health of the project and control the risk.
  •  
  • Inquiry/PO issue follow-up, VDR, MRB & IOM Tracking for closing of Purchase order.
  • Preparation of  weekly and monthly  KPI &  Management information reports.

 

  • Worked with Leading Oil & Gas Manufacturing organization Petroleum Development Oman (PDO)for their Harweel Phase 2AB Project, Seconded through Petrofac Int. Ltd. as Planning Engineer since July’2009.

 

Planning Engineer (Construction/ Pre-com / Commissioning)

  • Responsible for review Contractor deliverables and Construction & Pre-com Schedule & Critical Path with use of Primavera 6.1 version.  
  • Responsible to prepare Recovery plan and Look ahead schedule.
  • Productivity Analysis for Critical Commodities and resource requirement.
  • Close monitoring for A Check sheets, A Punch items & Construction Completion (C-001H signoff), B Check sheet, B Punch Items & Pre-commissioning completion (C-002H Signoff), C Check sheets, C Punch Items & Commissioning Completion (C-003H Signoff ) with use of WINPCS System.
  • Prepare & maintain Commissioning Integrated schedule in conjunction with construction and pre-commissioning completion status and Support to commissioning team for SIMOPS operation to early commissioning.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly KPI & Management information reports.
  • Support to Lead Engineer for Project Risk Analysis in PERT Master.

 

Project Details:

2.0 Billion Worth of cost PDO-Harweel Cluster Phase 2AB EOR (Enhance Oil recovery) project consist around 37 Nos. development of Oil well, production of Oil & Gas, Transportation of Raw Oil & Gas, Oil & Gas Separation Unit at capacity of 140,000 M3/Day and facility of exporting of finish products.

 

  1. Worked with world’s premier Engineering, Construction and Project Management Company Bechtel Ltd. and India’s Leading Refinery & Petrochemical Company Reliance Industries Ltd.  Joint venture Group BecRel Engineering Pvt. Ltd.In Project control Group from April’ 2006 to June’ 2009.

 

Project Planning & Control Engineer (Engineering/Procurement)

  • Responsible for develop <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />EPC Schedule with using Primavera – 3.1 / 6.0 for the given project, Schedule updation & Revision, Rescheduling, Action Plan, Catch-up Plan, Critical path analysis, Resource Planning and leveling.
  • Responsible for development of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), S-Curves, Earned Value Analysis, Histogram & Calculation of Performance measurement for every project.
  • Responsible to set-up & implement Time Charging Procedure / System for Manpower Utilization analysis and Manpower Forecast.
  • Responsible to control of change orders and impact on project schedule.
  • Responsible for generate MIS Report for weekly & Monthly Project health checkup.
  • Tracking various commodities, P&ID, Engineering Major Deliverables, Piping Isometric (A/G & U/G), Electrical & Instrumentation Cable & Cable Tray.
  • Exposure to Bechtel Systems / software e.g. Infoworks / EPPR (For Progress Reporting) / BPS (Bechtel Procurement System) etc.
  • Involved for in-house software development of Engineering Deliverable Register, Performance Measurement and Change order Management System.
  • Lead auditor and QMR of Quality Management System for implementation of ISO 9001:2008.

BecRel Scope -Detail Engineering for Tankages, Utilities plants, Piperack facility, Building, Residual work of Crude, Alkylation & CFP plant for JERP project worth size of 4.0 million man-hours Detail Engineering job for 550 KBPSD Refinery & Petrochemical complex.

  • Daily Monitoring & Co-ordination with disciplines for material & Manpower requirement.

  • Responsible for Project Costing, Budgeting, Cash Flow and Vendor Payment.
