I am the lead project planner for the Chevron Cape Town Refinery. Our department runs with the Capex programme for the refinery which involves a portfolio of about 200 projects at any one time. Total average annual spend is about $35million. Average project size is less than $1million with about 15 projects greater than $1million. Large projects include Flare renewal project, DCS upgrade, FCCU replacement and Air Quality Compliance projects. We run on Primavera version 6.2 and also run Pertmaster as the risk management tool.
