I was the site Planning Engineer for the Kirkintilloch Link Road, a 4.6Km road valued at £35M reporting directly to the Contracts manager and Commerclai Manager.  I developed a fully logic linked cost and resource loaded programme as required by the NEC Contract Conditions for the works which was used both by Carillion and our various client groups for cost and value monitoring and forecasting and has become essential for Cost Index analysis.  The programme is also used to demonstrate the effect of compensation events and project manager’s instructions.

Project Management /Client team site respresentatvie for all planning, progress reporting, risk and time related requirements for half of the civil works on two of the four high speed slab track, trackwork contracts and civil works over 150km in length.     As well as specific contract requirements I co-ordinated and managed the works of THSRC and Contractors Planners in the region.  Construction types- Steel Bridges, Viaducts,  Mined Tunnels and Earthworks and associated structures.
