Mr. Doughty was initially assigned to assist the SR 125 project with scheduling and subsequently assumed the Public Outreach / Noise Abatement / Soundwall role on the Toll road portion of this contract. The expressway is a unique design-build project consisting of two contracts that were executed under a franchise agreement between Caltrans and California Transportation Ventures. The 2.5 mile Gap/Connector, which was administered by Caltrans using federal and state funding, and completes the existing SR 54 freeway and connects to the new SR 125 Toll Road.
