As a Project Controls Manager, I was responsible for overall Project Control for the Home Office & job sites on assigned projects.  Projects included the construction of a Silicon Polyreaction facility in Butte, MT., and Resource Recovery Facilities in Camden NJ, Hudson Falls, NY and Robbins, IL. Petrochemical expansions for Ashland Oil in Cattlesburgh KY, Fina Oil in Port Arthur TX, Maraven in Cardon, Venezuela, and Uno-Ven in Lemont IL.  Cost Control is provided using J.D. Edward’s in conjunction with special in-house programs, and scheduling is performed using Primavera.

As Chief Cost Engineer, I was responsible for the overall administration of EPC Project Control Cost department and personnel.  The primary goal was to integrate construction project control with the home office engineering, and I continued to facilitate the integration of engineering with construction.

As Manager of Project Controls and Computer Services, I was responsible for the overall administration of Construction Project Control personnel in the home office and sites.  In addition to general departmental administration functions, we successfully redesigned the in house construction management cost control and progress measurement system into an Oracle based windows environment, upgrading from a DOS d-Based system.  Other responsibilities included supervision of the Construction Information Technology department for both the Home Office & job sites.
