  • Corporate governance oversight and compliance of Boeing PMO activities by monitoring projects (up to 550M) and conducting independent health checks.
  • Continually improved Boeing Australia’s Program Management capability by developing and maintaining best practice processes (US Boeing and PMBoK based) and tools, sharing knowledge, lessons learned and coordinating the career development of 130 program management personnel.
  • Responsible for 130 program / project managers and project controllers from a Functional Management PMO (people, process, tools) responsibility.
  • Responsible for enterprise risk management, estimation and project controls.
  • Key Achievements:
  • Executed a change management program that led to the institutionalising of the Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) into Boeing Australia and assisted the top 11 programs to develop action plans to improve their maturity in the use of the PMBP. Part of this change was to drive all programs to use the Boeing Program Standard reporting Deck and perform a PMBP Self Assessment (Health Check).
  • Successfully managed the implementation of Boeing US ICT project management tools; MET (Management Emphasis Tracking), BORIS (Opportunity, Risk and Issue management) and a VCR (Virtual Control room). The Virtual Control Room and Boeing Intranet site provided a Program / Project Management Office interface to The US and Australian Management Executives.
  • Expanded the Project Management training of staff through the running of a two-day Best Practice application interactive workshop and delivered a Program/Project Management development program that included a competency assessment process.
