OVERALL RESPONSABILITY: 

      Study of project documents and also based on requirements from the Client, preparation and submission of Baseline program of works with the consult of Project Manager’s advises for the sequence of works. Monitor & Control of the works with periodic review and updated of the project planning based on requirements.

   Project 1:

   Name & Location:     R902/1 - Improvement of Emirates Road-stage2, Dubai UAE

   Name of Client:        Road and Transport Authority Dubai RTA

   Description of the Project:Widening of the existing highway of an approximate length of 33 km and the upgrading of the existing intersection of Al Barsha Road. The work also includes the provision of street lighting crossing ducts for different utilities, and the relocation and/or protection of existing services.

  Value of the project:    USD 255.4 million

  Position:             Planning Engineer

  Period of engagement:  09/2008 to 09/2010

  Responsibilities:   

l   Join in CSCEC Group Staff Programme in alternative department to study project management

l   Drawings and Specification study with the project team for the preparation of the Clause 14 Programme and resource requirements.

l   Preparation and submission of Daily, Biweekly, Monthly reports to The Client / The Engineer for the Progress of works.

   Project 2:

   Name & Location:     Outer By Pass Extension, Umm Al Quwain UAE

   Name of Client:        Ministry of Public Works

   Description of the Project:The project includes 13km road link between the Outer By Pass and Emirates Rd, main Underpass at Existing Junction at Falaj Al Mulla Rd, Directional Ramp at Emirates Road and underpass in the middle. Also includes relocation of existing and new utilities.

 

   Value of the project:     USD 44million

  Position:             Senior Planning Engineer

  Period of engagement:   09/2010 to 09/2012

  Responsibilities:   

l   Assisting the Project Manager in the preparation of fixing of targets for the project team/Subcontractor.

l   Developing master programme coordinated with individual department & subcontractor

l   Assisting the Project Manager by providing the analysis of the delays from the Updated programmes and suggesting the improvements required areas to meet the Programme.

l   Deal with counterclaims issue against subcontractor coordinating with company legal department.

l   Recovery Programmes / Mitigation Programmes preparation for the delayed works to complete the works on contract completion time as per the Project Manager’s advises.

l   Preparation and submission of Extension of the time claim programmes & Narrative for the delays by the Client and the Engineer.

l   Attend meetings with Client / Consultant / Subcontractors / Suppliers on Planning related matters.

   Project 3:

   Name & Location:     Internal Roads and infrastructure for Military, Abu Dhabi , UAE

   Name of Client:        Abu Dhabi Municipality

 Description of the Project:Work includes the excavation; construction of roadways; widening and reconstruction of roadways, islands; new asphalt works; asphalt overlay; service reservations; lighting; signing; pavement marking and striping; utility relocation and protection; and other related construction. Traffic staging will be required to maintain traffic during construction. New roadway paving shall consist of aggregate subbase material, asphaltic concrete base course, and asphaltic concrete wearing course.

 

   Value of the project:     USD 25.8 million

  Position:             Deputy Planning Manager

  Period of engagement:   09/2012 to Present

  Responsibilities:   

l   Prepare Procedures or Work Instructions for Planning Section functions.

l   Assist the Project Manager in setting the general direction and method in which the Project works are to be executed.

l   Oversee the Planning Department of the Project

l   With feedback from Section / Department Heads, Subcontractors and the Project Manager, establish and maintain an accurate and workable Construction Programme for the Project at all times.

l   Liaise with the consultant and client on all matters relating to the Project’s Construction Programme including follow-through to obtain approval for the Construction Programme.

l   Provide advice and support on time related issues and claims.

l   Ensure records are maintained according to the Company’s management systems.

l   Help track Key Performance Indicators of the Project related to works progress.
