Senior Project Engineer / Planner and Estimator. The company performed, or supported operational turnarounds, shutdowns, and outages for oil refining, chemical processing, and other industrial clients in the Gulf Coast. The scope was to plan and estimate emergency repairs, capital project tie-ins, or major shutdowns. Representative shutdowns: Shell, Citgo, Exxon, Bayer, Mobil, Valero, Lyondell Refinery, Seadrift, Western, Refinery in El Paso TX; and Amoco. Services provided: planned and managed detailed planning and estimating and organization of the work involved; identification and removal of assets from production; inspection and work execution; product changes; repairs; improvement activities; or a combination of these. Restart of the asset/unit/plant and restoration to “should” performance levels.
