  • Electronic Systems Division
    • Provided subject matter expertise in project management, risk, schedule design, management and statusing of all divisional acquisition projects.
    • Provided advice and guidance on project, risk and schedule management.
    • Prepared divisional reports/briefs for division and branch heads on project performance.
    • Liaised with Defence Materiel Organisation corporate on matters relating to sproject planning and management controls.
    • Chaired the Electronic Systems Division Project Controls Community of Practice with the focus on improving schedule maturity and standardisation planning and scheduling.
    • Provided mentoring and coaching to trainee schedulers.

 

Branch Project Controller                                                   February 2008 – November 2009

  • Electronic Warfare Branch
    • Supported Branch project managers and schedulers in the development, management and maturity of project schedules.
    • Manage Branch project planning, analysis and reviews.
    • Prepared Branch reports/brief for project managers relating to project performance.
    • Liaised with Electronic Systems Division and Defence Materiel Organisation corporate staff on matters relating to project planning, management and controls.
    • Provided other projects within the Defence Materiel Organisation with specialist project controls and planning assistance.
    • Assisted in maintaining the standard of project planning & controls management in the Defence Materiel Organisation.

Project Controller                                                                   January 2006 – February 2008

  • Air 9000 Multi Role Helicopter Project:
    • Provided project controls support and coordination functions including Quality Assurance, business, finance, configuration management, contracting, risk and administrative support.
    • Represented the project office with regard to Defence Materiel Organisation project controls management.
    • Provided framework and preliminary planning for future stages.
    • Assisted in the design and development of project plans and reports.
    • Monitored and reported on project performance and progress.
    • Assisted resident project teams with technical aspects of project management.

Provided staff support to Project Director Multi Role Helicopter and Multi Role Helicopter Project Manager as required.
