Senior Planning Engineer

  • Studying Drawings and prepare the detailing of Items and BOQ’s. Interacting with the Designers and making necessary corrections as per the site requirements.
  • Allotment of Drawings to the Vendors as per their respective Work Orders.
  • Identify the critical and sub-critical activities and their impact on the project schedules and report the same to the Project Manager.
  • Time and Motion studies/Productivity Analysis.
  • Preparing and compiling the monthly executive reports on project status and progress.
  • Co-ordination with the Procurement department to draw up procurement plan and delivery schedule of all the raw materials & components.
  • Inspecting the material as per the Quality requirements and specifications.
  • Planning and executing the assignments as per the planned schedules and forecasts.
  • Preparing and maintaining the necessary documents related to Project.
  • Fabrication and Erection of the Steel Structures as per the given Drawings and Procedures.
  • Clearing Quality Inspections by Client/TPI.
  • Quantity certification by Client representatives and raising RA Bills.
  • Submitting Daily Progress Reports through SAP PS module and also manually to all the higher authorities.
  • Creating Vendor Codes in SAP and preparing Rate Analysis and  LOI's.
  • Preparation of Sub-con requisitions and approvals as per their quotations, raising PR's and creating W.O's through SAP MM module.
  • Preparation of Monthly Liability Statements, Subcontractor and PRW Billing through SAP, within stipulated time, with complete reconciliation.
  • Client Billing both manually and also through SAP.
  • Preparation of Quarter Review Presentations, Board Meeting Notes, Flash Reports, Pictorial Charts, Projected Schedules, MOM's etc.,
  • Preparationof project budget, contracts management and Claims recovery.
  • Analyze and identify the areas of concern, work progress trends and report the same to the Project Manager. Taking effective steps time to time for minimizing such impacts and ensures timely completion of the Project.
  • Identify the critical and sub-critical activities and their impact on the project schedules and report the same to the Project Manager.
  • Time and Motion studies/Productivity Analysis.

  • Estimate & prepare claims for extra works & contract variations.
