·   Provide overall direction and discipline lead for project department growth and development. Responsible for all services and products within the department.

 

·   Manage and coordinate projects from start to completion, including planning and estimation of tasks, clarify priorities with the customer.

 

·   Ensure all projects delivered and constructed in accordance to project requirement and standards specification (IEEE/ISO/BS/ANSI/TIA/EIA engineering standard) within agreed time frame and cost

 

·   Support installation and implementation of the tasks in all phases and follow up of plan and cost.

 

·   Resource and schedule planning. Develop, control and adjust plans for tenders and projects

 

·   Carry out effective and competent process design, selection of equipment, material selection, vendor technical assessments and review of vendor documents

 

·   Process claims:

–        Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to main contractor

–        Evaluation and approval of sub-contractors “claims and suppliers” invoices

 

·   Prepare and deliver documents for client approval

–        Technical Drawings, System Schematic Drawings, System Physical Connectivity Drawings, Network Diagrams, As Built Drawings and etc.

–        Process Flow Diagram

–        Schedules, Operation & Maintenance Manuals

–        Method Statements

–        Catalogues

–        Samples

–        Testing & Commissioning Procedure, Testing & Commissioning Form & Checklist

–        Technical query

–        Design change compliance

 

 

·   Involve in tender and bidding submission

–        Provide technical specifications (write up), bill of quantity, costing

–        Technical advice, support and consultation

–        System design

 

·   Systems consultancy, concept design, system design, cause & effects matrix, risk assessment and systems integration & interfacing (both high & low level) for varies systems.

 

·   Coordinate procurement process for equipments and materials:

–        Source and request for quotation from suppliers

–        Product, equipment and material evaluation and recommendation

–        Coordinate delivery of all material, equipment and product

 

·   Inspection, testing and commissioning and project hand-over

 

·   Monitor project progress and prepare weekly, monthly progress report

 

·   Communicate and follow up with all parties

–        Customers

–        End users

–        Main contractors

–        Sub-contractors

–        Consultants

–        Architects

–        Vendors

 

·   Manage, supervise and support project engineers, project coordinator, site supervisors, technicians, sub-contractors and labourers.

 

·   Selection of sub-contractors – evaluation, recommendation and managing of sub-contractors.

 

·   Coordination works with other trade coordinators and within the trade coordinators.

 

·   Continuously improve and expanding Project Engineering department.
