  • Currently I’m assigned to the MRX Program as a Lead Project controls manager and responsible for the alignment and standardization of Hatch project controls plans with Cameco Corporate standards. Review and ensure that agreed project controls plans/procedures submitted by EPCM consultant are tailored to be consistent with the Cameco’s overall Project Execution Plan.
  • Develop detailed engineering and construction schedule (Level IV) using Primavera P6 Version 7, taking into account delivery times (long lead items), plant shut down durations and available resources. Create project WBS of TSA Phase projects and allocate budget values from SAP at package level. Assigned roles to the WBS during planning stage which will replaced by the resources with progressive elaboration.
  • Responsible for the planning/scheduling of TSA Phase projects. Ascertains that the correct scope of work is reflected in the contractor’s schedules. Ensure Cameco’s self–performed scope of service cost and schedule information are properly passed on to the EPC Contractor and incorporated appropriately into the overall schedules and cost flow forecasts.
  • Other responsibilities includes during the Phase-1 are AFE preparation; project planning and scheduling, budgeting, management of project change (MoPC) and development of project control baselines. Manage and oversee the consolidation of monthly reports by the EPC contractor’s which include: schedule and cost flow, resource loading, integration of approved changes and trends.
  • Professionally monitor the performance of the EPC contractors and advised them on critical issues in order to achieve Cameco’s objective. Competently review and approve contractor’s schedules, cash flow, weekly and monthly reports. Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance against plans.
  • Proficiently analyze, forecast & report to PMO the progress of work as compared to current work plans and overall schedule. Summarize results of the schedule analysis in the Portfolio report and Executive Program reports.
  • Forecast the timing of work activities and the consumption of critical resources during the TSA phase of the program. Analyzed cost and schedule contingency by using probabilistic analysis and Monte Carlo Simulation by using Primavera Risk Analysis.
  • Develop in close collaboration with EPC contractor of a contingency drawdown methodology to be used on the project and ensure that it is implemented and adhered to.
  • Provide direction and support to develop the functional planning and scheduling processes. Support the Environment Assessment functional group with Planning and Scheduling. Work with EA team to become their functional expert in planning and scheduling the resources for the group.   
  • Work with Integration Planning to develop the function. Support using Microsoft Project Server (MPS) to consolidate portfolio of projects. Ensure progress measurements are accurately represented in schedule to assist in EV performance measurement calculations. work with project team to ensure that all applicable tasks have assigned resources

Source, hire, train and functionally supervise a team of scheduling personnel that execute the scheduling functions. Perform MAPS for Cameco employee. Responsible for Planning and scheduling activities to support Integration Planning Initiative in Project Delivery Office PDO.
