May Gurney/Kier​ July 2013 till date Senior Project Planner (P6 & MS Project) • Produced schedule adherence report for Project Manager, trace programme logic and report on slippage and risks issues. • Analyzed programme impact of change controls and report to Project Manager prior to acceptance. • Produced summary report periodically (4 & 8 weeks Look-ahead) to the Project Manager. • Represented the depot at Planning meetings and feedback to the central team where improvements are required. • Provided updates to the Central team on reports that are being frequently requested at the depot and present a case for inclusion into the Programme and Controls Interface. • Prepared a work breakdown structure to enhance planning following the requirements of the Guide to Railway Investment Project – G.R.I.P all stages. • Maintained/Assigned required baseline plans for the project plans against which progress is measured following monitoring, update and changes to the project plans throughout the project lifecycle. • Highlighted key milestones and critical path issues to members of the project team. • Carried out Progress tracking with specific reference to engineering activity, sourcing, quality and delivery on a weekly/monthly basis. • Progressed the project plans to report and compare actual progress against planned progress that will ensure robust tracking of key activities and milestones. Network Rail​​March 2013 – June 2013 Project Planner (P6 & MS Project) • Worked closely with the PM and Functional Managers in producing an agreed list of activity descriptions, durations and dependencies for Network Rail projects. • Used the model to forecast dates, resource loading and allocation of resources in line with Resources Manager. • Produced and agreed project/programme baseline (Clause 14). • Gathered progress information, and used it to update the programme. • Produced reports and advising the PM and Functional Managers of any variances in terms of schedule, budget and resources. • Worked with the Head of Planning in the production of the overall company project plan. • Complied with the company and contract health, safety, quality and environmental requirements and procedures.
