o      Manage the overall project in respect of all project management phases such as planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, changes controls and closeout.

o      Providing planning and scheduling support as required during Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Detailed Design and Execution of major capital projects in the Company's Capital Program.

o      Providing Project Planning & scheduling awareness and guidance to fresh engineers & PDPs.

o      Providing guidance and sharing the knowledge with new hired Scheduler.

o      Reviewing and analyzing Contractors Baseline schedule and recommending changes to the program to reduce any milestone difficulties, minimize critical paths, and identify interface conflicts.

o      Evaluating EOT claims / change orders and making the recommendations.

o      Review, analyze, monitor and reporting progress of Contractors regularly updated progress schedules and forecasts, resource histograms, progress curves and current versus baseline comparisons.

o      Review of project master plan, Baseline and revised programs, resource loading and leveling, execution programs and progress S-curves.

o      Performing analysis of contractor schedules, checking the logic, verifying the accuracy of updates.

o      Generating the reports from Primavera P6 that identify the open-end activities, logics and determine out-of-sequence activities, Lags & Total Floats.

o      Material cycle follow up & monitoring, since issuing material requisition until receiving materials at site.

o      Punch list clearance follow up & control.

o      Prepare/ Review tie-in schedule, and shutdown schedules.

o      Prepare/ Review commissioning schedule (Including systems & Sub-systems).

o      Preparation of & Participate in top management meetings (Internal/External).

o      Participating in meetings with supplier/ subcontractors.

o      Coordinating the function of progress reporting with discipline lead engineers to ensure timely transfer of progress information.

o      Preparation & Execution of Project Risk Management Plan.

o      Conduct & lead project risk identification workshops.

o      Preparation of project risk register, perform both qualitative, quantitative risk analysis.

o      Project Risk Management, identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks followed by economical application of resources to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of unfortunate events or to maximize the realization of opportunities.

o      Working with project managers and cost engineers and providing appropriate support for finance control, risk management and resources allocation.

o      Developing Project WBSs using the latest project planning and scheduling tools, eg Primavera.

o      Plan and provide work direction as required in the preparation of Level-IV planning and scheduling control systems and practices to provide Engineering, Procurement and Construction supervisors the means to evaluate the progress and execution of assigned projects.

o      Reviewing the contractor submitted Level-I, Level-II, Level-III & Level-IV Schedules.

o      Developing and updating Monthly and 90-days look ahead reports.

o      Supervising and monitoring the Time Baseline schedule against current Status.

o      Interface with the consultant for any required verification or information.

o      A continuous process of evaluating budgeted cost breakdown of each work package (based on all stated and related specifications and BOQ) to insure reasonable Project Cash in/out flow.

o      Implement all possible methods and measures to strengthen the stated schedules required and needed.

o      Process and ensures that all specified details and changes are implemented according to the final approved for construction plans.

o     Review Conditions of Contract

o     Comparison of sub-contract packages

o     Negotiation with consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers

o     Proficiency in FIDIC, Conditions of Contracts and in the International method of measurements.

o     Pre-tender and post-tender negotiations with major suppliers / subcontractors.

o     Preparation of Work Orders, Bills and Invoices for Sub-Contractors.

o     Preparation of variation and claims.
