Senior Planner/Scheduler, Civil Mining and Construction Pty Ltd, Civil construction projects

- I am responsible for the planning and monitoring of progress for the construction projects that Civil Mining and Construction (CMC) undertake.  I monitor and forecast both time and cost progress for the projects, including resource levelling, cash flow and budget expenditure.

 

I principally use Primavera P6 to plan and monitor the progress of the projects, however also utilize Asta Powerproject and Microsoft Project where the client prefers those tools.

 

I also plan and develop schedules for CMC tender submissions, in association with CMCs Pre-Contracts estimating staff.

 

Recent projects include:

- Pacific Motorway Upgrade , Worongary to Mudgeeraba (A$76 million) - widening of northbound and southbound carriageways over 3.6km.

- Capricorn Highway : Gracemere Industrial Access Project (A$27 million) - construction of 3.5km new road and a 3 span road/rail overpass bridge.

- South Burnett Regional Council Flood Restoration Program (A$33 million) - repairs to flood damaged road and bridge infrastructure at over 220 individual sites.

- Gympie TNRP (A$28 million) - repairs to flood damaged roads within the Gympie Main Roads region.

- WICET Bulk Earthworks and Civil Works GC09 (A$58.5 million) - 875,000m3 bulk earthworks within environmentally sensitive tidal wetlands, haul roads and 2 bridges.
