Position: Acting Planning Manager

Duties:

  • Create and develop level 4Schedule for Yansab Olefin Plant, the biggest Ethylene Plant of the world
  • Develop and coordinate all Project control activities and supervise the operations of the planning engineer related to the planning and detailed scheduling of the Project
  • Organize training sessions, seminars or meetings at the Start of the Project to clarify its planning and control systems to Project Group and Discipline coordinators
  • Assist the Project Director in the preparation of the Project Execution Plan Memo and Progress Reports
  • Take part with the Project Group, in defining the key subdivision of the General Plot Plan for incorporate it into WBS
  • Justify to the Client any necessary schedule adjustments deriving from changes of the scope of work and will take part in the negotiations
  • Take the responsibilities of the planning engineer when the letter is not available
  • Develop the necessary S - Manpower Curve, S-Manhours Curve Actual vs Planned
  • Reporting the required Resource Quantity for next week and Report the Physical Progress, based on Actual Completion Units
  • Prepare S Curve for Physical Progress and Cost Control, Performance Overall Project Progress
  • Advise about Critical Activities, Project Total Float and Project Thresholds in order to meet the client requirements
  • Issue Monthly Progress Report for Furnaces part of the Project
