Senior Planning Engineer / Project Interface Coordinator with Mott MacDonald Limited in Dubai, UAE

Ø    Badra Oilfield Development Project in Badra, Iraq –Complete Development of Badra Oilfields, both upstream and downstream (expected peak production approx 8.5 million tonnes per year or 170,000 bpd, with start-up commencing in 2014) is being done by Gazprom Neft as operator with its consortium partners KOGAS (Korea), PETRONAS (Malaysia), and TPAO (Turkey). Mott MacDOnald is providing PMC services for the project. FEED was done by Technip, Drilling by Halliburton and EPC contractors are Samsung Engineering, Petrofac Ltd, China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau among others.

 

Major Responsibilities

Ø  Deputed as Project Interface Coordinator representing client Gazprom Neft Badra, involved in scope division and finalisation among contractors.

Ø  Integration of different EPC contractors’ schedule to develop overall Project Interface Schedule and publish the monthly updates to Project Control team and management.

Ø  Organise and attend project interface meetings with engineering and contract management teams to discuss and resolve interface issues.

Ø  Additional responsibilities of Project Controls section, involved in reviewing of schedules, reports and other PM procedures, finalisation and approval of documents for EPC contractors.

Ø  Analysingremaining construction works and coordinating with various contractors at site.
