Senior Planner, Mcdean, Suppor Various Projects

Responsible for overall Planning and Scheduling of various large electrical construction projects. Originated in-house scheduling capabilities including conception, recommendations, implementation, and maintenance of Critical Path Method scheduling capabilities for entire company enterprise. Created and implemented standardized Work Breakdown Structure to be used on all projects. Successfully transitioned from using Primavera P3 to Primavera P6 for both client and web based scheduling applications. Published in-house CPM scheduling training manual documentation and provide training to Project Managers, Office Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen.

Responsible for project planning and scheduling documentation to support projects and customer requirements. Provide planning and scheduling support in-house and on-site. Assist Operations Managers and Project Managers in tracking projects against baseline schedules and budgets. Prepare periodic management and/or customer reports, presentations and proposal schedules. Maintain Master schedule for all projects, identifying and recording the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled. Evaluate actual progress and provide regular schedule updates to the General Contractor and or Owner. Assist the Project Managers on use of the schedule as a monthly billing tool. Interface with Project Managers to determine possible impact to work and resolution of potential problems. Provide support to ensure incorporation of Resource and/or Cost Loading data into project schedules. Aide in creation of in-house Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

Perform Project Management Assessment as it relates to schedule compliance for each project. Serve as Technical Advisor and SME for solutions to difficult scheduling problems and trouble shooting. Perform DCMA 14 point schedule analysis on all projects. Provide overall scheduling support company wide.
