Responsibilities:

  • Develop planning and scheduling, progress measurement and progress reporting requirements and to incorporate them into the Tenders / Agreements (FEED, EPC)
  • Depth-in review and analysis of all submittals from contractors related to planning, scheduling, progress measurement, reporting, time analysis, project resource loading, critical path, productivity, compliance with work breakdown structure, production of 'what if scenario, individual plan to suit both COPI, BP Migas and Contractors, includes verification of physical progress claimed by contractors.
  • Monitor the reported progress and schedule status, identify the areas of concern impacting the progress and schedule of the projects and to advise the COPI Project team on proposed corrective actions.
  • Identifying the bottlenecks in achieving the planned progress by evaluating the progress trends and to propose corrective actions to recover/ minimize the slippages.
  • Identify critical and sub-critical activities of the project and to analyse their impact on overall completion schedule considering the actual status and trends.
  • Assist Lead Planner to Prepare summary schedules for new projects with a view to establish the likely project durations based on overall plan of execution.
  • Review of resource deployment by contractors for determining their adequacy for meeting the schedule and recommend enhancement if required.
  • Prepare, update and maintain systems and procedures related to project planning, scheduling, progress measurement, progress reporting and progress trending.
  • Prepare weekly / monthly progress reports and periodic presentations to Project Management.
