PROJECT CONTROL ENGINEER, FRIGSTAD OFFSHORE MARINE (CYPRUS) PTE LTD, KAN TAN IV OIL RIG PROJECT

Directly reporting & supports the Project Manager in control and management of the project progress.

• Responsible for the development and preparation of Project Master Schedule Plan details activities.

• Coordinates with respective vendor & discipline prior to the preparation of Project Master Schedule Plan.

• Maintains overall responsibility of the project plan and ensure all planned schedule activities are properly implemented according to

project work scope.

• Verifies site progress versus KPI plan & provide weekly input on shipyard reporting, monitoring deviations as well as the progress

trend of the project.

• Updates Project Manager on a weekly basis on project status and the areas of concern in relation to the outcome of project

progress.

• Liaise with respective discipline engineers on the site status, shipyard planning & control department, Construction Manager on the

project scope additions, Technical Manager on the equipment status and the Commissioning Manager on the completion of general

facilities activities.

• Prepares and submits Technical Query, proposal and negotiate changes / variation order with shipyard representatives and the

third party authority as per Project Manager instruction’s and advised.

• Assistance to Project Manager in profiling of scope estimates, CTR.

• Attends Engineering meeting as required, weekly production meeting on the shipyard meeting and to ensure the Minutes of

Meeting is properly maintained.

• Verifications of daily activities and de-briefs project staff members as required.

• Control shipyard activities and work progress in line with contractual targets.

• Ensure yard work scope received for approvals are in compliance with contract and Class requirements.

• Verify shipyard resources are adequately provided to meet set targets.

• Liaise with the Vessel Operation Management and engage rig crew in project support activities as required.

• Control third party vendor activities and ensure compliance to project requirements is implemented.

• Ensure project activities, meetings, approvals, acceptance documents, etc. are correctly and comprehensively documented and

circulated.

• Performs other project functions related in support with Project Managers, Commissioning Manager, Construction Managers, and

the Operation Vessel Managements.
