Richard is Chief Executive Officer for Safran Software. 

I am responsible for growth of the international business for Safran outside their domestic market in Norway, where they are the de facto standard for complex project management in the Oil & Gas sector. This includes a focus on heavy asset industries globally, particularly Oil & Gas; Utilities; Engineering & Construction; and Public Infrastructure. This is a relatively new venture following investment by a Norwegian VC and will see Safran quickly emerge as a credible Enterprise level programme management vendor to these sectors - and a real alternative to established technologies.

Safran products are used to manage and control some of the world’s most complex projects. Our software is used in industries such as oil & gas, engineering & construction, aerospace & defense, ICT and the public sector.

Safran is the only provider of a unified project planning, scheduling, earned value management and risk management solution in its Safran Project software. Combined with Safran Risk, project stakeholders can now access the first complete set of project management tools required to forecast and measure project performance accurately. Both Safran Project and Safran Risk are SAP certified and fully integrated with SAP software solutions.
