Korea– July 2009 to Mar. 2010.

As a leading member of this small PMC team, responsible directly to the client‘s project management team to review, advise and recommend on all aspects of the client’s project controls systems.

This included coordination and validation of the master schedules, fiscal and quantity estimates, all reports and cost control systems and methodologies and preparation and reviews of all regular progress and management reports for this over $2bn project.

Other responsibilities included all project management functions on behalf of the project manager during his absence.

Singapore– April 2008 to June 2009

As part of the EPC team, responsible to the Senior Site Manager and Project Director for the construction phase of this combined lump sum and remeasurable US$ 1.5 billion project.

Responsible for the development, implementation and coordination processes for the Engineering and Procurement phases with the Construction phase to ensure proper project control strategies are met and maintained. This included preparation of the Level 3 construction schedule and coordination with the  discipline subcontractors’ level 4 schedules, resources and manhours. Also overview of the validity of the current in-house estimating, progress and cost measurement and reporting processes and systems for this project, including development and implementation of coordinating processes, via setup and coordination of WBS and in-house cost code structures to ensure accurate and verified budget estimating, change control, project and cost progress information and reporting between the site and head office.

Software used throughout is Primavera P6.0, as well as bespoke in-house progress measurement database systems with the extensive use of Excel spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office applications.
