Building, Civil and Environmental Contractor for both major and minor works:  East Anglia, Kent, Sussex, Wessex regions

·         Recruited as a retained specialist, with a turnover of c.£20M and 100 staff, focusing on railway infrastructure

Channel Tunnel Rail Link Drainage & CCTV Project (£400K)

·         Developed a Primavera Project Plan to achieve clearance of all parts of the tunnels, involving two drainage clearance teams, a CCTV surveying team.

·         Performed test shifts, booked 120 possessions to cover all works and attending weekly possession planning meeting, adapting work locations and structures as required to drive project progress

·         Reviewed plans iteratively and revised work activity schedules for issue to site managers

·         Issued progress reports to clients, including updated P6 cost loaded programme with baseline variance, KPIs and amended possession schedule

Accomplishment

·         Project completed to specification, 2 months ahead of schedule and under budget

Somerleyton and Reedham Swingbridges Project (£1.1M)

·         Complex project to repair corroded steelwork, with PWAY removing and reinstating ballast, track, sleepers and S&T renewing signalling components

·         Managed project initiation phase, coordinated ongoing site meetings with client and subcontractors, produced a daily project summary and created project completion documentation and associated governance materials

Accomplishments

·         Implemented a complex 9-day, 24/7, P6 Programme to coordinate activities and ensure steelwork and Network Rail’s PWAY met deadlines and specifications and modelled scenarios of the P6 Plans for contingency planning and risk mitigation
